Kristyn Kusek Lewis is the bestselling author of Perfect Happiness (HarperCollins, 2020), Half of What You Hear (HarperCollins, 2018), Save Me (Grand Central, 2014), and How Lucky You Are (Grand Central, 2012).
Kristyn is also the Contributing Books Editor for Real Simple magazine, where she handles the magazine’s books coverage for an audience of over six-million monthly readers. Kristyn curates the magazine’s Books page, working with publicity teams and editors across the publishing industry to handpick and feature five new releases each month. She previously held editing positions at publications including Glamour and Child, and is a well-established freelance writer who has written for dozens of publications over the past twenty-five years. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, O: The Oprah Magazine, Reader’s Digest, the New York Daily News, Glamour, Self, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Parents, Allure, Good Housekeeping, Cooking Light, Health, Men’s Health, and many more.
Kristyn loves talking to book clubs about her work. She regularly speaks to community groups, ranging from elementary school classes to senior audiences, about writing and the publishing industry. She is a graduate of the Vermont College of Fine Arts, where she earned an MFA in creative writing, and the College of the Holy Cross. She lives in the Washington, D.C. area with her family.
