In addition to her new memoir EVA AND EVE, Julie Metz is the New York Times bestselling author of the memoir PERFECTION. She has written for publications including The New York Times, Salon, Tablet, Dame, and Catapult. Her essays have appeared in the anthologies THE MOMENT and THE HOUSE THAT MADE ME. She is the recipient of fellowships from MacDowell, Yaddo, and the Virginia Center of the Creative Arts. Born and raised in New York City, Julie now lives with her family in the Hudson Valley.
